This 4-week virtual learning collaborative for psychiatrists will highlight specific considerations in the treatment of opioid use disorder in populations of black or African descent.

Learning Objectives
- Discuss the historical context of how social determinants, health disparities, and racism impacted the development and treatment of opioid use disorder in African-Americans and other populations of African descent outside of the United States.
- Apply the cultural formulation skills from the DSM-V-TR in assessment and the formulation of treatment plans.
- Describe the applicability of treatment options for opioid use disorders with African-Americans, specifically within primary care settings.
