This webinar will discuss the risk and benefits of exercise interventions, impact on multiple chronic diseases including mental health, and strategies for assessing current exercise behaviors, brief interventions, and additional referral to treatment with exercise specialist.

Learning Objectives
- Identify the risks and benefits of exercise interventions for patients with various chronic diseases, including mental health conditions.
- Explain the impact of regular exercise on the prevention and management of multiple chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and depression.
- Assess patients’ current exercise behaviors and implement brief interventions to promote physical activity.
- Develop strategies for referring patients to exercise specialists or other appropriate resources for more comprehensive physical activity treatment.

How to Earn Credit
Participants who wish to earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ may do so after completing all sections of the course including the evaluation. After evaluating the program, course participants will be provided with an opportunity to claim hours of participation and print an official CME certificate (physicians) or certificate of participation (non-physicians) showing the completion date and hours earned.
