Overview

The Accelerating Medicines Partnership (AMP®) program is a public-private partnership between the National Institutes of Health the U.S. Food and Drug Administration the European Medicines Agency pharmaceutical and life science companies non-profit and other organizations. The AMP Schizophrenia (SCZ) program was launched in 2020 to address the critical need for more effective treatments for people with schizophrenia and related mental health conditions. To date the program has enrolled nearly 1000 participants from over 40 sites around the world. This session will share how early findings from the study can already be used to inform the clinical care of people at high clinical risk of developing psychosis. Focusing first on an overview of this study the next topic will be a review of smartphone monitoring used in the research and insights into how changes in sleep and suicidal thoughts can be captured digitally. The session will then focus on new scales developed in the study that can be used to screen patients today. Next the session will cover insights learned from speech and voice data captured. After a panel discussion led by lived experience leaders in the study there will be time for audience questions.
