This webinar will explore the social determinants that influence mental health differently across generations and provide practical strategies for fostering understanding and collaboration. Through expert insights, lived experiences, and interactive discussions, participants will better appreciate how generational perspectives shape mental health awareness and treatment approaches.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand Generational Perspectives:
  • Identify how social determinants of mental health differ across generations (e.g., economic stability, social connection, digital influence).
  • Examine generational differences in help-seeking behaviors and perceptions of mental health.
  • Adverse effects on youth; akin to the importance of social connections/social support (also a SDOMH) which correlates with reduced ACE's and increased health and well-being.

  • Learn evidence-based approaches to integrating generational perspectives into mental health practice.

After evaluating the program, course participants will be provided with an opportunity to claim hours of participation and print an official CME certificate (physicians) or certificate of participation (non-physicians) showing the completion date and hours earned.
