Presented by specialists across the field, these monthly webinars will explore a range of diverse, pertinent topics and offer a chance to interact with peers and subject matter experts. 

Overview

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a common neurodegenerative disease affecting millions of Americans and their families. In this presentation, we will elaborate on the advances in biomarker and imaging research in AD. We will review novel and upcoming therapeutic advances in AD. Finally, we will provide guidance on their applications in clinical practice.

Format

Live, interactive webinar

1.5 hours of virtual, synchronous learning.

This activity will consist of a live, online lecture (approximately 75 minutes), a question/answer session or discussion (15 minutes), followed by independent completion of an online survey to claim 1.5 CME credit.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this lecture, learners will be able to:

  • To understand the current standard of care and treatment in diagnosis of AD
  • To evaluate the novel and upcoming therapeutics in AD
  • To appreciate the use of biomarkers in the emerging management of AD
