This course delves into the rising global influence of Cultural Psychiatry (CP) and its significant intersections with the study, diagnosis, and management of Personality Disorders (PDs). Dr. Renato Alarcón explores how varying sociocultural interpretations of identity, otherness, and normality complicate and enrich our understanding of PDs. Through this enduring resource, learners will examine the cultural critiques of current diagnostic systems, debates between dimensional and categorical models, and diverse psychotherapeutic modalities that reflect global perspectives. How to Earn Credit 

Participants who wish to earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ may do so after completing all sections of the course including the evaluation. After evaluating the program, course participants will be provided with an opportunity to claim hours of participation and print an official CME certificate (physicians) or certificate of participation (non-physicians) showing the completion date and hours earned.
