Description 

Measurement-Based Care (MBC) is emerging as a cornerstone of high-quality psychiatric practice, offering a structured approach to diagnosing, monitoring, and managing psychiatric conditions. Despite its demonstrated benefits—such as improved patient outcomes, better clinician-patient collaboration, and enhanced population health management—its adoption remains inconsistent. This session will critically evaluate the role of MBC in psychiatric practice, addressing implementation barriers, the selection of validated assessment tools, and the potential concerns about MBC disrupting the therapeutic alliance. Through a roundtable discussion, experts will explore best practices for incorporating MBC, the role of technology in enhancing its effectiveness, and the impact of MBC on diverse populations. Attendees will engage with interactive elements, including real-time audience polling and discussions on strategies to optimize MBC in psychiatric practice.

How to Earn Credit 

Participants who wish to earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ may do so after completing all sections of the course including the evaluation. After evaluating the program, course participants will be provided with an opportunity to claim hours of participation and print an official CME certificate (physicians) or certificate of participation (non-physicians) showing the completion date and hours earned. 

Continuing Education Credit
