Description
This course explores how real-world clinical data can be harnessed to enhance the early detection of high-morbidity child mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions such as psychosis, autism spectrum disorders, and suicidality. With a focus on health equity and data accuracy, the session highlights methodologies using structured (e.g., diagnosis codes) and unstructured (e.g., clinical notes) data sources across states and health systems. Emphasis is placed on understanding diagnostic disparities, refining EHR-based phenotype definitions, and translating these tools into population-level improvements in care delivery, especially for underserved populations.

How to Earn Credit
Participants who wish to earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ may do so after completing all sections of the course including the evaluation. After evaluating the program, course participants will be provided with an opportunity to claim hours of participation and print an official CME certificate (physicians) or certificate of participation (non-physicians) showing the completion date and hours earned.
