The theme of the 2022 APA Annual Meeting was The Social Determinants of Mental Health. This course will cover psychiatric topics with a focus on the most pressing issues facing your practice and patients. 

Learning Objectives

  • Describe new research findings in psychiatry and neuroscience and how they may impact practice.
  • Apply quality improvement strategies to improve clinical care.
  • Provide culturally competent care for diverse populations.
  • Describe the utility of psychotherapeutic and pharmacological treatment options.
  • Integrate knowledge of current psychiatry into discussions with patients.
  • Identify barriers to care, including health service delivery issues.

How to Earn Credit

After evaluating the program, participants will be provided with an opportunity to claim hours of participation and print an official CME certificate (physicians) or certificate of participation (non-physicians) showing the event date and hours earned.
